As a storm building to unleash fury and destruction.

All thoughts fixated into a poison.

A NEURO TOXIN.

And like a coiled viper - hissing

Prepare to strike your victim with violence and hatred.

Your mouth dripping with a putrid - black saliva

Eyeing your prey as it's writhing, it's heaving and dying.

Your pride has become its own entity

and you have been consumed.

By a symbiont you thought to build you.

But this symbiosis is not what you had hoped for

There is no life within this

It will only bring about YOUR DEMISE

Swayed and tossed about by the waves.

Consumption by weakness within feeble knees.

Faith of spiritually crippled hands.

BUILT UPON THE SAND.

That heart was a wildfire - raging

This great forest being consumed, ablaze by a living flame.

Now seeing a cold pile of ash - lifeless

Visions of smoldering earth, an empty dead wasteland.

Pride and self-righteousness fills your eyes.

What was alive is now decaying and dead.

It's His blood that paid the ransom,

but you want the glory instead.

Him whose name that claimed you,

but who will you shift the blame to?

Christ's countenance shall illuminate.

While you continue to defend.

Watching as you perceive it,

yet you still let your soul descend
